Sage Intacct Console and Velixo

Overview

Sage Intacct provides the functionality to access multiple companies under a single main console. A user logs in to the console level only and can then access all the companies defined under this console.

This scenario is not compatible with Velixo.

Issue

Intacct Console companies are not compatible with integrations such as Velixo.

• The Console only provides a simplified view as a way to access multiple separate companies from a web interface.
  
  
• An integration to the Console is not able to access any individual company data, even though that data is typically accessed by the viewer through that console.
  
  
• All Integrations with Intacct must always be configured to access data at the company level.

Resolution

A Sage Intacct administrator must configure user access at the individual company level.

This can be done by following the steps described in this article — Sage Intacct configuration prerequisites — for each company with which Velixo will be used.

A connection from Excel via the Velixo Connection Manager can then be established for each particular company rather than to a console company.
