Velixo NX 2025.7 Release Notes – Business Central

We are happy to open Velixo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for private preview, opening the path to efficient and convenient Excel-based reporting for its users.

We are very excited to launch a private preview of the first set of Velixo functions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, that enable you to query objects and create balance sheets in your reports:
BC.QUERY - lets you query a specified Business Central object type for records that match provided criteria. (RD-2241)
BC.EXPANDOBJECTRANGE - provides you with a list of Business Central objects, e.g., to be queried using the BC.QUERY function. (RD-2241)
BC.OBJECTDEFINITION - lets you check fields, data types, and allowed values available for a specified Business Central object. Useful for constructing queries using BC.QUERY. (RD-2241)
BC.EXPANDACCOUNTRANGE - provides you with General Ledger accounts matching search criteria. (RD-1924)
BC.ACCOUNTNAME - use this function to return the account name corresponding to a given account code, as visible in the Business Central Chart of Accounts. (RD-2414)
BC.ACCOUNTCATEGORY - lets you check the account category corresponding to a given account code. (RD-2414)
BC.ACCOUNTSUBCATEGORY - check the account subcategory corresponding to a given account code. (RD-2414)
BC.OPENINGBALANCE - returns the opening (beginning) balance of a GL account. (RD-2402)
BC.CLOSINGBALANCE - returns the closing (ending) balance of a GL account (at the end of the specified reporting period or date). (RD-2402)
BC.TURNOVER - returns the balance turnover of one or more GL accounts between two dates. (RD-2403)
We are also launching a public preview of Slice, a new functionality and interface for time-efficient, user-friendly creation of parameterized copies of a report, based on a template.(RD-766)
You can use the CONNECTIONINFO function to check the details of your ERP connection (Company ID, Company Name, Environment Name, Environment Type, and Tenant ID). (RD-1922)
A new option in the Refresh behavior menu lets you decide whether the Refresh → Current Sheet functionality refreshes worksheets referenced on the current sheet in addition to the active sheet. (RD-4157)
