Velixo NX 2025.7 Release Notes – Acumatica
Release date: July 31st, 2025
Version number: 2025.7 or higher
🚀 New:
We are very excited to launch a public preview of three new functions, which let you query data from Acumatica without a predefined Generic Inquiry:
Public preview: We added the ACU.QUERY function, which lets you query data from Acumatica based on DAC records without defining a Generic Inquiry. (RD-1181)
Public preview: Using the new ACU.EXPANDOBJECTRANGE function, you can now check which Acumatica objects (DACs) are available for use with the ACU.QUERY and ACU.OBJECTDEFINITION functions. (RD-3321)
Public preview: The new ACU.OBJECTDEFINITION function lets you list object (DAC) properties you can use in the ACU.QUERY function.
We are also launching a public preview of Slice, a new functionality and interface for time-efficient, user-friendly creation of parameterized copies of a report, based on a template. (RD-766)
You can now use regular expressions and simplified “LIKE” syntax in addition to Velixo techniques to filter your queries. (RD-3772)
A new option in the Refresh behavior menu lets you decide whether the Refresh → Current Sheet functionality should refresh the worksheets on which the current one directly or indirectly depends. (RD-4157)
✨ Improved:
Hidden/filtered-out cells (rows and columns as well) are no longer included when selecting a range to be used for Writeback, Distribution, or other Velixo features. (RD-3189)
Memory usage is improved for GI and ACU.QUERY functions ran for very large datasets. (RD-4050)
Now you can use spill ranges (e.g. A2#) in Writeback functions, allowing you to select multiple values for a single parameter. (RD-2141)
🔨 Fixed:
Users no longer receive an error message when successfully performing a Writeback. (RD-4054)
🐛 Known Issues:
An article describing the behavior of Excel’s 'Undo' functionality is now available. (RD-3692)
An article is now available, offering workarounds for an issue where Velixo functions only return a single result when combined with Excel’s TEXTSPLIT function. (RD-4580)
